Friday Workshop: Charcoals by JessicaDru Friday Workshop: Charcoals by JessicaDru
Two drawings from the workshop last week. The model is Michael and he is really talented. Not only were his costumes amazing! but he had such dynamic poses. He's one of my favorite male models, ever.

The guy on the right makes me think of The Indian in the Cupboard. The leftmost smudge on his rib is too dark, otherwise it's a great pose and I think you hit him in action nicely.

I really like the one on the right, I feel you did a great job of capturing a feeling there. The one on the left I feel is a bit weak. The torso feels strange to me like it's too 'tall'. Maybe just the model?

yeah, the one on the right is my favorite as well. the left one was the first drawing i did that night. so it's me warming up, but the costume is why i posted it.
I see what you mean about the torso. or the general proportions. ^_^

They are both amazing and I love how you capture the intensity and passion in his face. The one on the right is my favorite... it kind of looks like the brother from the Last of the Mohican's! You have such skill! I love it! :worship:

Your work is one of the few I will always halt my inbox cleanouts to first check out. =)
I've been snowed with retouching work and shooting for ad agencies so not much else happening here. Do you still use ICQ or other chat programs these days?

I agree with what you said: AWESOME OUTFITS, AND AWESOME POSES. Also, I like that little bit of red in the left one. It adds a nice touch of flare! :D These are so dynamic and interesting.
